Our physical location is in Louisville, KY for mental health services. For medical weight loss, we offer virtual telehealth visits to all of Kentucky and Florida. 

Telehealth, sometimes called telemedicine, allows your prescribing provider to care for you without an in-person office visit. Telehealth is done primarily online with internet access on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. There are several options for telehealth care:

• Talk to your health care provider live over the phone or video chat.
• Send and receive messages from your health care provider using secure messaging, email, and secure file exchange. (HIPAA compliant)

Ozempic and Wegovy are brand name semaglutide-based medications manufactured by Novo Nordisk, while Mounjaro and Zepbound are tirzepatide-based medications manufactured by Eli Lilly.  Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide formulations are developed by our partner compounding pharmacies. They feature the same active ingredient, however one noticeable difference is that compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are self-administered subcutaneously by traditional syringes, whlie the name brands use injection pens. 

Compounded semaglutide is a semaglutide-based medication compounded by our partner pharmacy to address the shortage of Wegovy and Ozempic. Compounded tirzepatide is a tirzepatide-based medication compounded to address the shortage of Mounjaro and Zepbound. 

Yes. They are made in an FDA-registered compounding pharmacy (CPA).  Further, CPA has ensured us that all formulations will only be compounded using pure semaglutide base, rather than salt-based peptides.  The compounded formulations have the same efficacy, side effects and safety profile as the brand name medications. 

Compounded Semaglutide and Tirzepatide share the same side effects of the name brand medications: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, heartburn, and/or constipation.  These normally go away on their own within a few days or up to a few weeks.  Many patients develop a tolerance to these side effects.  You can help prevent or ease these side effects by eating slower and at more regular intervals throughout the day, injecting at the same time of day each week, avoiding fried and greasy foods in favor of healthier options. We will also provide you with additional tips. 

Subcutaneous injections are very easy to administer. We will provide you with a form of step-by-step instructions and a video link.
